Major Function:
The Marketing Executive will be responsible in the daily activities, providing administrative support to the Sales & Marketing Department. Coordinates the creation, development, and of print and online content, email marketing tasks. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Department while being familiar with all aspects of the sales and marketing processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement sales, public relations and marketing, social media initiatives as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with external suppliers, other key partners and departments.
Maintain advertising campaigns, inventory of marketing and advertising materials; maintain data base.
Cover all hotel events, theme nights and activities by taking digital photo and videos to be communicated on social media including live posts.
Collaborate and plan with other relevant departments to produce content, images, messages, etc to be communicated on various social media platform to boost sales and awareness.
Hosts, coordinates, and supports on-site media visits, and on-site photo and video shoots.
Maintain an effective working relationship with the media by contacting and visiting them regularly to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions. Arrange press conference events at the Hotel for new promotions, new openings, launching etc; when necessary.
Has the ability to prioritize work effectively and to work to tight deadlines and to take responsibility for his/her projects and to work unsupervised where directed
Prepare reports, design and maintenance of social media campaigns and internal Guest Management Reviews.
Prepare administration documents required for marketing (ie: internet listings, advertising, booking of directory advertising).
Assist with promotions (eg seasonal sales promotions and special events).
Co-ordinate hotel brand standards collateral.
Proof read copy of advertising, collateral and press releases where appropriate.
Perform all tasks in the absence of the administrative support personnel; Sales Coordinator, Events Sales Executive.
Perform other tasks as directed by senior management.
Required Skills:
Self-motivated, High attention to detail.
Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks consistent with business objectives.
Possess excellent organizational and administrative skills, result oriented, excellent interpersonal skills
Well presented and excellent communication skills both written and verbal in the English language
Will be able to work flexible work hours
Experience, Training and Education:
Experienced in the same position for at least 2 years in a 4-5* hotel environment
Knowledge in Graphic Design software is a must
Locally available applicants is preferred
Knowledgeable in social media platforms
Diploma in Marketing or certification/training in marketing related field
