MRI Technologist

- Maintain advanced skills MRI, operate the equipment for MR imaging and anything related on various areas of the body in order to provide high quality images and information for patient diagnosis.

- Troubleshoot Scanners and equipment’s to ensure that equipment is operating properly to avoid downtime or delays that affect patient satisfaction. Any unusual events, malfunctions and errors must be recorded and report to line manager for further actions

- Ensure all MRI images are taken with no effect on the patient’s health and wellbeing, and do not affect his/her current medical illness.

- Implement Radiation / MR safety measures and ensure alignment with IMAGES imaging policies, procedures and regulations.

- Liaise with Radiologists as required to develop and evaluate customized care plans depending on identified condition of the patient.

- Communicate effectively with radiologists and health care professionals to ensure the message is getting across appropriately.

- Address patient concerns during the procedures, and explain the MRI process to the patient in a way that is informative but also reassuring. Allow patient privacy whenever applicable.

- Ensure patient safety with aseptic injection technique and pre-screening procedure for any contra-indications before MRI procedure.
