Sustainability Awareness Manager

The Sustainability Awareness Manager supports and assist the Resources and Waste Management
department in various tasks and objectives, including but not limited to the following:
Developed sustainability communication material for NEOM Community and the wider NEOM
developments
Developed sustainability training material for NEOM Community with the main focus area
(Resources and Waste Management, Energy, Water, Transportation and Environmental Quality)
Facilitated sustainability awareness across projects for NEOM Community and the wider NEOM
developments
Facilitated sustainability training across NEOM Community and the wider NEOM developments
Developed a variety of awareness programs that will support NEOM Community Sustainability
Strategy
Developed procedures and guidelines for sustainability communication in NEOM Community and
the wider NEOM developments
Liaised between different stakeholders for the accurate communication
Built organizational commitment and educational opportunities on how to continue to engage in
sustainability actions
Provided guidance and acted as a subject matter expert on sustainability communication to
different target audiences, including employees and their families
Tracked and publicized (through internal communication) NEOM Community sustainability
targets, achievements, and practices
Give support to the NEOM Sustainability Champions
Give support and input to the Community Sustainability Manager

The Sustainability Awareness Manager should have the following skills and experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience with sustainability awareness, training, and
communication
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience with Sustainability projects
Excellent communications skills (writing, conflict management, engagement)
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
Stakeholder management
Hands-on, able to build and maintain relationships
Experience in consulting or internal corporate positions or a combination in promoting
sustainability programs
Familiar with the UN Sustainability Development Goals
Familiar with ISO 26000 Social Responsibility
Qualifications BS, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development or similar
Qualification in communications (preferred)
