- Reviewing applications for new lines of credit to determine if the applicant is a good candidate for the loan
- Communicating with other departments within the company to coordinate processing of loans and other types of financial transactions
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and other documents related to the department’s activities
- Reviewing customer accounts to determine their creditworthiness and helping clients improve their scores
- Reviewing loan requests for approval, including collecting information about applicants’ income, assets, liabilities, and other factors that may affect their ability to repay the loan.
- Monitoring accounts for delinquencies or other issues that may require additional attention from other members of the team
- Reviewing accounts for possible fraud, theft, or other criminal activity that may have been overlooked by other employees
- Preparing letters, memos, and other documents related to loans or other financial transactions
- Processing loan applications, including collecting information about applicants’ income, assets, liabilities, and other factors that may affect their ability to repay the loan
