SR. WIRELINE SUPERVISOR

The purpose of the job isto manage the Wireline Supervisor team to ensure that all wireline slickline activities are programmed and executed to achieve the company's requirements in a safe and efficient manner.

1 . Manage the team of wireline supervisors who plan, programme and execute all wireline slickline activities in the Offshore field. Activities include stand alone wireline jobs; support for 8 drilling/workover units, support for two logging units, two coiled tubing CT packages as well as six well killing operations per month and the management of the wireline workshop.

2. Ensure that all wireline operations are conducted safely and efficiently and in accordance with the requirements of the Drilling Reference Manual (DRM) by identifying and mitigating risks through a systematic hazard management approach. 3. Lead the accident investigation team for all high potential incidents including all LTI's and ensure lessons are captured and corrective action is taken across all related activities within sphere of responsibility.

4. Manage the wireline service contractor as the Contract Holder with full responsibility to ensure that the Contractor performs the work in compliance with the contract terms and conditions including the provision of capable personnel and certified equipment and that that all QP requirements are implemented correctly. The accountability includes the management of any contract variations and the technical and operational contribution for future tender exercises.

5. Review and approve all wireline programmes and where necessary provide operational input to enhance programmes and procedures, thereafter schedule and plan all daily wireline activities to achieve the objectives required by Production; Field Development; Well Integrity and Drilling divisions in an efficient and problem free operation.

6. Develop and maintain a competent and motivated team of wireline supervisors with the ability to manage all wireline activities on a 24/7 basis throughout the year. In particular support and manage the de

velopment of Qatari development staff assigned to the section to help achieve QP's Qatarization objectives and targets

7. Provide advice and support to wireline supervisors and when necessary take the lead in managing and solving critical operational problems. This will necessitate the detailed analysis of operational data and the coordination of input from colleagues and contractor personnel. Typical problems include: fishing for stuck tools; securing wells where full integrity may have been jeopardized.
