Lead Electronics Engineer (Head/Senior)

Our client is an amazing new company in the renewables energy sector, manufacturing their self-contained/self-powered units in their factory in Bahrain. These units provide full off-grid solar / wind powered electricity and water treatment and can be deployed anywhere there is a water source.

They are also rapidly expanding so need to hire a Head of their Electronics Division.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a Renewables background. Specifically, you will need to be able to programme and build electronics platforms that manage and control the power configurations and additionally their water systems.

Role is to lead on the design, engineer, manufacture, programme and install electronics platforms within the renewable power configuration for both wind and solar.

Primary place and country of work will be in Bahrain; there will be project related overseas travel opportunities.

By way of example they are building a value chain that includes Turbine & Solar control systems, charge controllers, inverters, and battery management systems. All these items can be bought off the shelf from multiple international suppliers but are not always compatible.

They intend in the short term to combine off the shelf and make their own, before transitioning completely to our own manufactured components.

Salary is 1700 BHD (negotiable) per month + 250 BHD per month accommodation allowance + one annual return flight + 30 days annual leave and travel expenses will be paid for company travel
