Job Description

• Manage training need analysis.
• Manage internal and external training for all stakeholders.
• HSE gap assessments and closure follow-up.
• Creation of emergency preparedness plan, callout procedures, and ERT.
• Weekly and monthly Firefighting inspection.
• Fire alarm inspection and system management.
• Organize the safety committee and monthly meetings for all locations.
• Managing and planning Emergency and evacuation drills.
• Facilitating HSE risks assessment and ensuring all processes are implemented.
• Daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspection of the site.
• Managing third-party contractors (training and management).
• Wellbeing program development and follow-up.
• Reporting first aid, accidents, and investigations.
• Biannual safety statistics creation and submission to the labor office.
• Act as a focal point and liaison with the civil defense and follow up on gaps.
• Act as a focal point and liaison with the Labour office and follow up on gaps.
• HSE management of change program.
• Manage HSE projects and budget.
• Ensure Regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a safety officer/engineer.
• Experience in writing HSE reports and policies.
• Working knowledge of HSE management systems.
• Have a valid HSE Technician / Responsible certificate from the legal authorities.
• Good communication skills to handle all stakeholders including governmental officials.
• Certificate in occupational health and safety is an asset.
