- Participates in the repair of welded parts/assemblies for RSADF systems that are covered under the currently approved TAA. Wok location Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Provide welding advice to the (directorate/section) manager.Collaborate with team for repair, test and checkout of launchers or other equipment requiring welding.Maintain all welding tools and misc. assigned tools in the depot to perform job task.Knowledge of proper shop ventilation required to perform welding and knowledge of how to keep the weld area (walls and floors) protected from sparks and hot metal. In depth understanding of reading drawings, blueprints and understanding welding symbols, as well as taking measurements to plan layout and procedures.Determining the appropriate welding equipment, process and/or method based on requirements.
