الوصف الوظيفي
- Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure on VMWare environment.
- The managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange servers
- Plan and implement systems automation as required to achieve better efficiency
- Formulate and design the security system in place to maintain data integrity
- Prepare and install tests and maintenance of operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Evaluate current systems and provide technical guidance to IT support staff.
- Monitor, diagnose and resolve VMware problems
- Manage and administer servers, networks, and applications such as DNS, FTP, and Web
- Maintain internal network structure of a data center by managing routers and keeping them running
- Install, configure, and maintain switches, servers, firewalls, and hard drives
- Troubleshoot network systems to identify and fix performance issues
- Perform system repairs and update software/operating systems
- Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a datacenter
- Timely reporting on the log sheet for the rapid response to any glitches
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
- Troubleshooting, identifying the main source of product problems, providing quick solutions, and paying attention to detail - when building and maintaining information systems infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience in systems engineering (more than 5 years)
- Advanced knowledge of vSphere, vSAN, and other VMware products and systems.
- Working knowledge of servers, networks, and operating systems, troubleshooting
- Advanced experience for the following programs:
- VMware products (Horizon, vRealize, vSphere, Vcloud
- NSX Cloud Management
