Role Summary: As a member of the Crown Melbourne Food & Beverage (F&B) senior leadership team, the General Manager – Bars, Nightlife & Lounges is responsible for defining and leading the strategic direction and operations of all Bars & Lounges. This role is accountable for meeting financial, service excellence, compliance, and people objectives. The GM will actively support and contribute to the broader Crown and F&B strategy, ensuring this translates into short- and medium-term direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the successful execution of initiatives to achieve profitability and growth in line with the strategic plan for the F&B business unit.
- Focus relentlessly on customer service, including the delivery of key opportunities to build the customer base.
- Lead and develop a positive culture at all levels that reflects Crown’s purpose and values, focusing on improved employee engagement.
- Manage an efficient and effective operation, identifying areas of strategic growth and business development opportunities.
- Implement best practices across our Bars & Lounges group-wide.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive senior leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in strategy development and implementation.
- Proven track record of success in leading large-scale Food and Beverage operations.
- Tertiary education preferably in hospitality management or a business-related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
