Key Responsibilities
- Design implement manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and support Cisco switching and routing environments.
- Manage wired and wireless network connectivity across the organization.
- Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure network availability reliability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and infrastructure-related issues.
- Administer Windows and Linux server environments.
- Manage network security measures firewalls VPNs and access controls.
- Support virtualization platforms and server infrastructure.
- Perform regular system maintenance upgrades and backup procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and technology initiatives.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning and business continuity processes.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Requirements
Requirements
- Cisco certification such as CCNA CCNP or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including switching routing TCP/IP VLANs VPNs DNS and DHCP.
- Hands-on experience with wireless networking and Wi-Fi technologies.
- Experience administering Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
- Knowledge of network security principles and firewall management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in network engineering network administration or IT infrastructure support.
- Experience working in enterprise or multi-site environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and modern infrastructure solutions is an advantage.
- Experience implementing and supporting secure scalable network environments.
