Bartender

As a Bartender at Hawar Resort by Mantis you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic to guests while providing a welcoming and engaging experience. This role requires excellent knowledge of cocktail recipes attention to detail and strong customer service skills. You will create a memorable bar experience by ensuring prompt courteous service and a friendly atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Customer Service: Greet customers promptly and courteously ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment.
• Order Taking & Recommendations: Take beverage orders from customers and waitstaff provide recommendations and upsell beverages when appropriate.
• Beverages Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee tea and specialty beverages according to standard recipes.
• Innovation & Menu Development: Create new and innovative beverages to enhance the beverages menu.
• Presentation & Quality Control: Ensure the correct glassware garnishes and presentation for each beverage maintaining high-quality standards.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area including countertops sinks and storage areas.
• Inventory Management: Restock and replenish bar supplies perform regular inventory checks and notify management of any shortages.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
• Payment Processing: Process customer payments accurately including cash credit and debit transactions and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and participate in team meetings to contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications :

• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest service.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Menu Knowledge: Knowledge of food and beverage menu items including dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to follow service procedures accurately.
• Flexibility: Flexibility to work shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.
• Educational Background: A hospitality-related certificate or training is preferred but not required.
