About us

Naseem AlAndalos is a Bahraini fashion house creating luxury kaftans prêt-à-couture and couture. Every piece is made in our atelier in Bahrain from the first hand-drawn sketch and hand-cut pattern to the final fitting.

The role

We are looking for an assistant fashion designer who sketches by hand to support our design team.

What youll do

• Sketch design ideas and technical drawings by hand
• Research colours fabrics and trends and prepare mood boards
• Source and organise fabrics trims and embellishments
• Prepare design details for the pattern maker embroiderers and tailors
• Attend fittings and follow samples through the atelier
• Keep design records and collection files organised

What were looking for

• A diploma or degree in fashion design or equivalent atelier experience
• 1 to 3 years experience in a fashion house or atelier
• Excellent hand sketching and fashion illustration skills
• A good eye for colour fabric and detail
• An interest in kaftans evening wear and couture

Please note

This is a hand-sketching role. We are not looking for digital designers or illustrators. Your portfolio must show hand-drawn work.
