Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 35 years of progressive accounting or finance experience preferably within a luxury or international hotel environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial accounting role with strong knowledge of hotel finance operations.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Income Audit bank reconciliations balance sheet reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Experience with budgeting forecasting financial reporting variance analysis and internal controls.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles financial policies and applicable statutory requirements.
• Experience with hotel finance systems and accounting software; knowledge of Marriott systems and procedures is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Strong leadership communication organization and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy attention to detail integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict financial reporting deadlines.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA CPA CMA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management department heads auditors and cross-functional teams.
