Remote Automation Engineer (XCUITest, Espresso, or JavaScript)

Only candidates with 3+ years of overall software development experience are eligible for this role.

Turing is looking for a remote Automation Engineer on behalf of a global OTT platform that has been revolutionizing the entertainment industry with its world-class services and technology. The developer will lead the overall project development cycle, assess multifaceted problems, propose relevant solutions, and execute them successfully. The video platform provides its services to 300+ mn users in over 17 languages covering every major sporting event, international and regional shows, among many others. The company has managed to secure fundings worth $225+ mn so far and is known as one of the key players in the entertainment market. Job Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and manage automated test frameworks and scripts
- Implement functional and non-functional testing, including product app security, web accessibility, client-side page speed, and server-side load & - performance
- Review automated test results and take required action
- Ensure that all test cases are validated via alternate mechanisms in case they are not involved in the automated tests
- Influence design at the architectural phase to improve code testability
- Plan, define and execute test strategies in a multi-screen, multi-platform web application environment, and ensuring they are released to production with high quality
- Collaborate with IT team members, PMs, product development teams, designers, and the internal team of engineers


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an automation engineer
- Proficient with one or more of the technologies: XCUITest, Espresso, or JavaScript
- Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Expertise in automated testing tools and testing/defect management
- Experience with continuous improvement culture, Scrum and Kanban frameworks
