- Diagnosing system failures, repair/replace components, and system power up/power down on the VCTS and other TADSS.
- Exposing Soldiers to the effects of clearance operations and to develop the skills necessary to react properly in a clearance scenario.
- Integrating available terrain databases to realistically replicate current operating environments and allowing clearance vehicles to conduct operations among non-combat vehicles and pedestrians, as well as a full range of threats.
- Fully utilizing vehicular organic radios and BFT/FBCB2 interfaces for team connectivity, and precision small-arms simulators to protect against threatening avatars in a combat related scenario.
- Providing Soldiers first-hand experience to increase their situational awareness of a vehicle in a clearance operations scenario.
- Repairing/replacing damaged components, diagnosing system failures on the VCTS, and various other TADSS.
- Actively collaborating with rotational units to ensure the proper Instructor to Trainee ratio.
- Providing effective vehicular training with a standardized training platform for both classroom and simulated battlefield conditions.
- Supporting system simulators and TADSS to enable crews to develop and sustain individual and crew level proficiency in performing critical clearance operations skills required to transition to other individual and collective [email protected]
