You work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deadlines. Estimation
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotations from drawings, specifications, and related documents.
- Place orders into CX and send files to scheduling, coordinate with scheduling as required.
- Communicate order information to all relevant parties.
- Accurately prepare and provide proposal presentation to the account representative to present to the client.
- Respond to all requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge on all product and services offered.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to optimize efficiency and ensure project requests are feasible and attainable.
Customer Service
- Act as the main point of contact for volume builders, offering product selections as needed.
- Take payment information and other pertinent information.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and in person.
- Address customer and team member communications in a timely and professional manner.
Education / Certification
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Estimating, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology, Project Management, considered an asset
- Clear criminal check.
Experience / Capabilities
- 1 year Estimation experience.
- 1 year Customer Service experience.
- Previous experience in construction with a focus on windows and doors considered an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exercise independent judgment, make decisions, solve problems, be innovative, and use discretion in typical and new situations.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes to provide quality customer service.
- Comfortable working with high volume workload.
- Strong work ethic, action oriented and desire to achieve excellence.
- High comfort level working in a fasted-paced team environment that is constantly changing.
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
- Very high integrity, ethical and trustworthy.
- High comfort level working autonomously and require little day-to-day oversight and direction.
