AOSense, Inc. (Fremont, CA) is a leading developer and manufacturer of innovativeatom optic devices for precision navigation, gravity measurement, andtimekeeping. Our capabilities include gyroscopes, accelerometers,inertial measurement units (IMUs), gravimeters, gravity gradiometers,and atomic frequency standards. Atom optic devices use frequency-stablelasers to manipulate atoms freely falling in a vacuum cell, resulting inunparalleled accuracy and stability that greatly surpasses theperformance of conventional designs. AOSense is an employee-owned company formed in 2004 by Brenton Young and Mark Kasevich tospin-off innovative research developed at Stanford University.
