About Albion College

Albion College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts college in Michigan associated with the Methodist church. The college offers Bachelor of Arts in about 30 subjects and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in art and art history. It employs some 130 full-time faculty members and has an enrollment of almost 2,000. Albion can trace its roots to 1835 when early Methodist settlers of the Michigan Territory worked to get the college a charter from the Michigan Territorial Legislature. Notable alumni include chairman and editor-in-chief of Newsweek magazine Richard Smith and Broadway producer Michael David, founder of Dodger Theatricals.
