Reports to: Project Manager
Employment Type: Full-time office based
Job Purpose: The Project Accountant is the financial memory of the project ensuring that every financial transaction is recorded accurately and on time and that the company has a clear picture of collections expenditures payables and receivables.

Main Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions in the approved accounting system.
- Process contractor payments sales receipts salaries operating expenses and purchases.
- Prepare monthly payroll and coordinate salary payments.
- Track subcontractor dues and prepare payment orders after engineering approval.
- Follow up buyer installment collections and report delays.
- Prepare monthly financial reports: income statement balance sheet and cash flow.
- Prepare tax declarations and coordinate with tax authorities.
- Maintain organized financial archives.
Academic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications in international standards accounting software and cost accounting are preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience including 3 years in project accounting or construction company accounting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Knowledge and skill in report writing.
- Ability to analyze data.
- Good knowledge of corporate financial and tax laws within the Syrian context.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Personal Skills: Accuracy integrity and confidentiality.
Required Skills:

Personal Skills: Accuracy integrity and confidentiality. 1. الشهادات العلمية: بكالوريوس محاسبة أو مالية ويفضل شهادات مهنية في المعايير الدولية وبرامج المحاسبة والتكاليف . 2. الخبرة: خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات منها 3 سنوات في محاسبة المشاريع أو الشركات الإنشائية 3. المهارات الفنية: إتقان برامج المحاسبة وExcel معرفة ومهارة في كتابة التقارير القدرة على تحليل البيانات معرفة جيدة بالقوانين المالية والضريبيسة للشركات في البيئة السورية 4. المهارات الشخصية: دقة ونزاهة وسرية
