Summary:
The Draftsman role is a critical position within our engineering and project team supporting the successful delivery of construction and industrial projects across Saudi Arabia. This individual will be responsible for producing accurate and compliant technical drawings ensuring seamless coordination between engineering project management and site teams. The role demands precision technical proficiency and strong organizational skills to manage drawing revisions documentation and on-site verification contributing directly to project efficiency and compliance with client and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update 2D and basic 3D drawings using AutoCAD
- Create shop drawings as-built drawings and coordination layouts based on project requirements
- Review engineering drawings and technical specifications before drafting
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams on drawing revisions and updates
- Support BOQ-related drawings and quantity verification works
- Ensure all drawings meet project standards and client specifications
- Maintain organized records of drawings revisions and technical documents
- Assist with technical submissions and material documentation as needed
- Conduct site visits for measurements and verification when required
Requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Mechanical Electrical Drafting or Engineering
- Minimum 34 years of relevant experience in construction or industrial projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and basic 3D
- Proven experience in shop drawing preparation as-built drawings and construction/MEP drawings
- Familiarity with GCC or Saudi Arabia project standards and practices
- Ability to manage tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy

- Well-organized and technically skilled
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams
- Experienced in managing multiple drawing revisions
- Familiar with construction and industrial project environments
- Responsible professional and committed to meeting project deadlines
Required Skills:
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects Solid understanding of cost estimation cost control tendering processes and contract management Proficient in interpreting construction drawings specifications and technical documents Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving abilities Competent in MS Office and industry-standard quantity surveying software Demonstrated ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
