Role Overview
The Business Analyst & Test Analyst is a hybrid role responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements translating them into functional specifications and ensuring the quality of software solutions through rigorous testing. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team ensuring that delivered solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit analyze and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear concise functional and non-functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops interviews and meetings to gather insights and validate requirements.
- Create process models use cases and user stories to support development and testing.
- Support project planning scope definition and prioritization of features.
- Develop test plans test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and specifications.
- Execute functional regression and integration testing.
- Identify document and track defects; work with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis
- Strong understanding of SDLC Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA Confluence TestRail or similar.
- Fluency in English & Italian - written and spoken.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
