We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in AlUla Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our executive team you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of our luxury hotel ensuring compliance profitability and financial integrity.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans annual budgets and long-term forecasts
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability
- Oversee all accounting functions including AP AR GL credit audit and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies internal controls local regulations and international accounting standards
- Develop and implement robust financial control systems and procedures
- Act as the primary liaison with hotel ownership auditors banks legal advisors and tax authorities
- Monitor and manage hotel cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability
- Lead mentor and develop the Finance & Accounting team
- Collaborate with all departments to support budgeting forecasting and business analysis
- Evaluate and monitor capital investments (CAPEX) and ensure expected ROI is achieved
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across departments
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or equivalent; professional accounting or finance designation preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in hotel accounting or audit with at least two years in a Financial Controller or similar supervisory role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and numerical skills including a solid understanding of financial valuation methodology
- In-depth knowledge of hotel accounting management duties and luxury hospitality financial operations
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and reporting standards
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills would be advantageous
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to relocate to AlUla Saudi Arabia
- preferably with previous experience with Accor & resort experience
