Information & Technology (IT) Supervisor
The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department ensuring the effective functioning of IT systems providing technical support and leading a team of IT professionals. This role includes managing IT infrastructure coordinating support services maintaining system security and implementing IT projects that align with organizational goals.
What you will be doing:
- Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the IT team.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems including hardware software networks and servers.
- Monitor performance of IT systems and suggest improvements.
- Oversee installation configuration and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
- Provide second and third-level technical support and resolve escalated issues.
- Enforce IT policies and procedures and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Coordinate IT projects upgrades and migrations.
- Manage user accounts access permissions and data backups.
- Train and mentor IT staff; conduct performance evaluations.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance team productivity and IT incidents.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 35 years of experience in IT support or network/system administration.
- 12 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role preferrably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of networking server administration hardware troubleshooting and cybersecurity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Active Directory cloud services and enterprise software.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Microsoft Cisco) are a plus.
