About this job:
QSourcing Tanzania Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced Materials Controller
POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION:

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Materials Controller is responsible for planning coordinating and managing materials to ensure efficient inventory control and optimal handling within the warehouse environment. This role involves overseeing the receipt storage issuance and proper documentation of materials ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and safety regulations

Requirements
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Good knowledge of material planning stock management and basic logistics.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or ERP software (preferred).
- Understanding of automotive components and part identification.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in Swahili and English for effective communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Education and Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate in Logistics Supply Chain Management Procurement or a related field.
- VETAcertified or trained in stores/material management (preferred).
- 2 4 years of experience in material control inventory or warehouse operations preferably in a manufacturing or vehicle assembly environment.
ADDED ADVANTAGE:
Ability to operate material handling equipment

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cable manufacturing or a similar production environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating Bunching 630, Lead Machine, Mica Tapping, and Pairing machines. Understanding of cable insulation, wiring, and electrical standards. Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance knowledge. Soft Skills: Attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
