Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Rotating & Static Equipment Superintendent to oversee the installation commissioning and maintenance of mechanical equipment for ammonia production in a facility in Israel. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications safety regulations and quality standards while coordinating with contractors engineers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the installation commissioning and maintenance of rotating and static equipment including compressors pumps turbines heat exchangers pressure vessels and piping systems.
Ensure adherence to project schedules budgets and technical specifications.
Coordinate with EPC contractors vendors and site teams to resolve technical issues.
Oversee quality control and safety compliance in mechanical installations.
Conduct inspections risk assessments and performance evaluations of equipment.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to site engineers and construction teams.
Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards including API ASME and ISO regulations.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
10 years of experience in mechanical supervision within industrial oil & gas petrochemical or chemical plant projects.
Strong expertise in rotating (pumps compressors turbines) and static (heat exchangers vessels piping) equipment.
Experience working on EPC projects and largescale industrial plants.
Knowledge of international engineering standards (API ASME ISO).
Proficiency in construction supervision commissioning and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Strong leadership problemsolving and communication skills.
Fluent in English.
