We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry. This is a full-time on-site role based in Miami FL offering competitive compensation full benefits relocation assistance and opportunities for leadership and advancement. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined electrically capable and comfortable working in a bilingual (Spanish-English) production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components including PLCs sensors relays frequency converters and control boards
Calibrate install and maintain control systems and automation components
Perform welding and light fabrication as needed
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from 120V to 240V
Accurately document maintenance work and support safety compliance standards
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability
Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish (manager is Spanish-speaking)
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience working with food production or beverage machinery
Strong understanding of electrical systems control boards sensors and frequency drives
Proven experience with PLCs (troubleshooting and basic programming a plus)
Mechanical maintenance skills including welding and basic fabrication
Familiarity with industrial tools diagnostics and safety procedures
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (Spanish is used frequently on the floor)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a food or beverage manufacturing facility
Technical diploma or certification in Mechatronics Industrial Maintenance or a related field
OSHA safety certification or equivalent
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary starting at $80000 annually (commensurate with experience)
