We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical HSE Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As an HSE Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health safety and environmental regulations across our projects and operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies
- Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
- Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards
- Review and evaluate safety plans and risk assessments for various projects
- Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and subcontractors promoting a strong safety culture
- Investigate accidents incidents and nearmisses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
- Prepare detailed reports on findings corrective actions and HSE performance metrics
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained
- Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments to company policies
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for projects
- Support the creation and of emergency response plans including conducting drills and training exercises
- Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to integrate HSE practices into all aspects of operations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (construction civil or related field)
- Relevant HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH OSHA)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within building road industrial or infrastructure projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of local Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations and standards
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey HSE concepts to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence safety culture across all levels of an organization
- Proficiency in HSE management software and data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws and cultural sensitivity
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
