About the Role:
Propel Consult is seeking an experienced IT Application Engineer to join our clients team in Dammam Saudi Arabia. The role involves developing and maintaining software applications collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions and contributing to a range of digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications and systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design and implement scalable and secure applications.
- Conduct testing and debugging of applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Write Request for Proposals (RFP) for projects within the Digital Transformation portfolio.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and oversee project implementations.
- Transfer knowledge to assigned engineers within the team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 12 years of proven experience in systems implementation and the software development lifecycle.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of development methodologies tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java C# and Python.
- Familiarity with various operating systems databases and cloud platforms.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
