Reporting to the Country Manager the Water Quality Monitoring Online Measurement Subject Matter Expert / Application Development Manager is the key frontline actor for strategic industrial and municipal accounts. You are vital to our organizations ability to deliver customer value and drive accelerated growth. You will work within a strong network of dedicated professionals who provide industryleading customer service and support via Senior Leadership Sales Inside Sales Customer Service Field Service Technical Support Project Sales Bids Team and Technical Applications professionals.
This position is part of the Sales department located in Riyadh Saudi Arabia and will be remote.
In this role a typical day will look like:
Identifying and pursuing new opportunities for business growth by researching market trends cultivating relationships with potential clients maintaining good relationship with the current clients conducting technical session to promote HACH solutions actively participating in norms and standards private and government organizations development of sales strategy and plans in coordination with key company stakeholders.
Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop plans strategies and market growth.
Capture new business in alignment with the companys technical expertise and strategic roadmap. This includes tracking and planning target market relationships managing customer relationships visiting key actual and potential customers on a regular basis understanding customer technical and functional requirements and translating product requirements to the Sales and Product teams.
Develop and execute a business plan to grow HACH business across all technologies and target market segments while working with the Marketing team to coordinate campaigns and develop brand awareness.
Attend industry meetings to gather the voice of customer (VOC) and market information representing the company and its business interests for the purpose of gathering market intelligence to develop plans and strategies to grow sales.
Foster growth of company business interests and relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders in targeted markets. Must be comfortable speaking to groups of customers and industry professionals to promote the companys products and interests at meetings and trade shows.
Develop key accounts OEM opportunities and strategic partnerships/alliances to promote sales. Implement training opportunities to develop HACHs understanding and utilization of sales channels product positioning and market trends to build and maintain opportunities that support the annual revenue target for HACH business.
Act as liaison and technical expert to distributors and manufacturer representatives to provide technical and sales and marketing information to be used for problem solving and development of sales activity.
Identify develop and execute pipeline of opportunities and engagements to achieve key sales targets and metrics. Document and track in CRM timely.
Coordinate development and drafting of industry analytical test methods guides practices and updates for norms and standards organizations such as ASTM USP etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree in a sciencerelated field such as Chemistry Biology Environmental Science Engineering or equivalent experience; a Masters an asset
10 years related technical experience and knowledge in the analytical instrumentation field of the water quality monitoring (process and laboratory would be a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
Demonstrated skills in business development management and knowledge of CRM software (SFDC or equivalent).
Availability to travel 80 of the time within Saudi Arabia
Proficient with MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Valid driving license.
