- Material Removal: Safely remove damaged materials like carpeting drywall and flooring to facilitate restoration.
- Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in water damage restoration preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in water damage restoration or similar industry including water extraction drying and mitigation techniques.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard equipment and tools such as water extractors dehumidifiers air movers and moisture meters.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with property owners and team members.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy objects climb ladders and work in confined spaces as needed.
- Licensing: Valid drivers license reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
This is a full-time position with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday totaling 40 hours per week along with on-call responsibilities. During periods of high demand extended hours and additional workdays may be necessary to meet customer needs. This role often requires working more than 8 hours a day including some evenings and weekends. A weekend on-call bonus premium pay for extended hours and additional compensation for high-volume or storm mode periods are provided. Travel is primarily local though occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
