Specific Accountabilities:
Utilizing the Worleys framework to undertake risk assessment of the project through engineering procurement & construction and develop HSE plans to support each phase of the project. - Develop HSE standards systems and procedures to support the project(s).
- Develop and implement HSE training for the project including orientation hazard analysis & safety leadership.
- Implement robust contractor management process including preselection orientation and ontheground review of performance (informal & formal)
- Ensure effective hazard & incident management processes are implemented including the use of the Worleys system.
- Implement effective Emergency Preparedness and Response plans aligned with Worley & Client Crisis Management Plans.
- Manage the local R3 processes and participate in project start up work (project mobilization). Ensure thorough.
Personnel
Recruit HSE personnel required to support the project - Coach & mentor direct reports and project team members to improve HSE skills and competencies.
Liaise with HSE professionals to identify & share improvements - Participate in HSE inspections & audits across project(s)
Qualification:
- Candidate must have an experience in the oil/gas hydrocarbon refinery offshore or infrastructure industries.
- Health safety and environment (HSE) experience on large projects shall include but not limited to : Leading the site risk assessment studies and developing and implementing safety management programs for the Project.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Health. Safety & Environmental international safety standards and procedures.
- Must have an international recognized professional safety certification i.e CSP CMIOSH
