Job Title: Infrastructure Design Director PMC
Location: Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Fulltime

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Design Director to lead the infrastructure design management of a major mixeduse development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design of roads utilities drainage and other critical infrastructure components ensuring compliance with project requirements international standards and Saudi regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and leadership experience in delivering largescale mixeduse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all infrastructure design aspects of the project ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
- MultiDisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with architects MEP engineers structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all infrastructure designs meet international codes local Saudi regulations and best industry practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government authorities utility providers and key project stakeholders to secure approvals and align design objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential design risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control measures throughout the design process.
- Value Engineering: Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize infrastructure design while maintaining performance and cost efficiency.
- Sustainability & Innovation: Incorporate sustainable and smart infrastructure solutions to align with environmental and technological advancements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present design progress reports technical recommendations and design reviews to senior management and clients.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of design professionals and external consultants to deliver highquality infrastructure solutions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 25 years of postgraduate experience with at least 12 years on similar largescale mixeduse developments and 5 years in the Middle East (preferably KSA).
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of roads utilities drainage water supply wastewater systems and smart infrastructure technologies.
- Standards & Codes: Familiarity with Saudi infrastructure regulations FIDIC contracts and international engineering standards (BS AASHTO ASTM etc..
- Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D InfraWorks GIS BIM tools and project management platforms.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead design teams coordinate with multiple stakeholders and drive strategic design decisions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to senior leadership and regulatory authorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Experience in large scale mixeduse schemes.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian permitting processes and authority approvals.
- Strong background in digital engineering and advanced infrastructure modeling.
