Weir Arabian Metals Company (Weir Amco) is an engineering and general machining joint venture of the Saudi-based Olayan Group and UK-based Weir Group. In June 2005, the Company was converted into this JV in order to further strengthen the over 27 years of local manufacturing capabilities in the Kingdom and bring home world-class technology. The Company operates on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis and has an excellent reputation for quality and service. Weir Amco repairs, upgrades,re-rates, commissions, and condition monitoring all kinds of rotating equipment, such as Centrifugal Pumps, Blowers, Compressors and Turbines etc. It also re-engineers and manufactures related static parts and components such as bearing housings, impellers, diffusers, casings, columns, bowls and manifolds.
