Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Developer to join our dynamic team at Hitachi Ltd. This role involves developing maintaining and enhancing software applications with a particular focus on projects requiring strong communication and technical skills in both English and Mandarin.

Job Responsibilities

* Design develop test and deploy robust and scalable software solutions using framework (C# .NET Core).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and quality assurance engineers to define design and ship new features.
* Write clean efficient and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to architectural guidelines.
* Troubleshoot debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
* Work closely with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and clients to understand requirements provide technical support and effectively communicate project progress.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation related to software design development and deployment.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and solutions.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience (3 years) as a .NET Developer with strong proficiency in C# and framework (.NET Core preferred).
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
* Experience with front-end technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript Angular/React/) is a plus.
* Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server Oracle) and ORM frameworks (e.g. Entity Framework).
* Experience with web services (RESTful APIs SOAP).
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese are essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
