About BIG SIS SIS Inc. (Becoming Independent Goal-oriented and Self-Sufficient In Society) is an Orlando-based nonprofit founded in 2008 by a formerly homeless teen mother who turned her experience into purpose. For 17 years we have served women and girls across Orange County through programs in youth empowerment maternal health reentry support transitional housing and community outreach. Our mobile unit The HUB (Help & Uplift Bus) takes our programs directly into the communities that need them RoleWere looking for an energetic creative and passionate Youth Program Facilitator to join our team part-time. This isnt a desk job. Youll be in the room with real young people who need real connection real skills and real support. You will design and lead curriculum-driven programming across our youth enrichment initiatives serving girls and young women ages 518 including teens navigating some of lifes toughest you love working with youth you are a natural group facilitator and you actually enjoy the planning and prep side this role is for Youll DoDesign age-appropriate culturally responsive lesson plans and activity guides for youth program group workshops life skills sessions and enrichment activities at community sites schools and on the HUB mobile materials including worksheets games creative projects and hands-on activities that engage and inspire genuine relationships with youth participants that encourage trust consistency and attendance complete session documentation and support program reporting across multiple youth initiatives and adapt your facilitation style to meet the needs of different age groups and with our Program Coordinators and Success Coaches to deliver cohesive mission-aligned Were Looking For2 years of direct experience working with youth in schools mentoring programs community organizations or youth development ability to develop and facilitate your own curriculum lessons or activities not just follow a group management skills and the confidence to hold a room of passion for working with young women girls and youth who are navigating real with or open to training in trauma-informed care and social-emotional transportation; must be able to travel to community sites and partner locations throughout Orange in English and Spanish or Creole is a strong pass Level II background screening before & CompensationThis is a part-time hourly position averaging 1020 hours per week depending on program activity. Some evenings and Saturdays are required. Pay range is $19.00$21.00 per hour depending on experience.
