Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and credentials and help to control access for employees visitors contractors and/or authorized personnel.
• Screen visitors deliveries and property according to site policies document activity and report unusual incidents or policy violations in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations with professionalism following post orders and communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify security-related concerns unauthorized activity and/or maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A current DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
