Job Summary
The Henry & Rilla White Youth Foundation a non-profit human services organization is seeking a masters-level counselor to work in the Gainesville FL area serving Department of Juvenile Justice Circuit Eight. The Program will include screening evaluating treating and case management of youth referred by the Department of Juvenile Justices.
Counselor will be responsible for setting their own schedule and will have the ability to work virtually on case-by-case basis.
Counselors will receive comprehensive initial and ongoing training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focus- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as weekly clinical supervision with a licensed supervisor.

Essential Functions
Complete diagnostic Mental Health and Substance Abuse Evaluations
Complete Treatment plans
Provide mental health or substance abuse therapy services based on the youths individualized risks treatment needs and strengths as identified after the completion of a diagnostic Mental Health and Substance Abuse Evaluation.
Complete a Treatment plan review each month.
Complete a Progress Report/monthly summary note Monthly
Attend weekly supervision meetings in person by phone or SKYPE with licensed supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & HIRING EXPECTATIONS
Candidate must pass level 2 background screening and drug test
Qualifications include Masters Degree from an accredited college or University in counseling social work psychology mental health counseling marriage and family therapy or related field. Training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioral therapy structural family therapy and other behaviorally based treatments are preferred (but not required).
