• Appraises both internal and external customer requirements and ensures their satisfaction.
• Cascades the Group and Division strategy in terms of Quality Management.
• Establishes and ensures that Departments goals are in alignment with the companys strategicobjectives.
• Ensures appropriate communication to engage the concerned stakeholders.
• Assures the compliance of production by checking processes and final output.
• Interfaces with supplier and customer representatives concerning quality issues and assuresimplementation of effective corrective action.
• Facilitates corrective and preventive solutions implementation.
• Ensures supplier selection & qualification in cooperation with purchasing. Monitors suppliers qualityperformances and implements appropriate corrective action plan. Participates in suppliers audits.
• Ensures appropriate communication and/or escalation in critical quality issues concerning suppliermatters and/or product quality and/or the quality system.
• Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring the group and self-follow established safetyprocedures.
• Participates in internal and external quality audits as well as third party and customer audits.
• Leads the local ISO9001 certification process within the multi-site certification.
• Maintains relevant records of quality reports and statistical reviews by: collecting analyzing andsummarizing information and trends including customers complain failed processes correctiveactions audits results. Ensures reporting at local and Division level.
• Forecasts operating cost of department and prepares budget.
• Ensures clarity around priorities and goals for the Quality Assurance area.
• Works with Senior and Executive Management for strategy development and execution planning.
• Communicates financial and goal results and key performance indicators to direct and indirect
  reports.
• Directly supervises 3-6 staff employees and overall responsibility of 18-30 employees.

• Bachelors degree (B.S.) in a related discipline and five years related experience and knowledge ofassembly of an engineered product (preferably mobile equipment); or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience. Proven experience as a quality manager or relevant department managerposition in a similar environment.
• Travel nationally and internationally up to 20% to customer and supplier sites.
• Ability to maintain a valid drivers license and passport.
• Ability to complete and maintain mine ceritifications or safety training such as Mine safety and Health Administration (MSHA) hazard training.

Pay Range: $180k - 205k
