Job Summary

We are excited to welcome a passionate Special Education Teacher to our educational team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing individualized instruction and academic support that empowers students with diverse learning needs to reach their fullest potential.

In this role you will collaborate with educators administrators related service providers and families to develop and implement personalized learning plans that foster student achievement and independence. By utilizing differentiated instructional strategies monitoring student growth and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders you will help cultivate an inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to succeed both academically and personally.

Further Details:

Full-time opportunity for the school year.
Teach 4th and 5th grade students receiving special education services.
Foster an inclusive positive and student-centered classroom environment.
Develop implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with general education staff related service providers and families.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a bachelors or masters degree in Special Education or a related discipline along with strong communication collaboration and classroom leadership skills. Experience supporting elementary-aged students is preferred. Applicants must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement.
