This person will assist with all aspects of the construction yard including occupational and environmental health and safety yard team management material inventory maintenance and possible minor repair of vehicles as needed.

The Yard Technician is responsible for the general organization of the yard to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the yard operations and related off-site locations. This person will assist with all aspects of the construction yard including occupational and environmental health and safety yard team management material inventory maintenance and possible minor repair of vehicles as needed.
How You Will Contribute
- Assist with material and equipment inventory and restocking. Oversee yard layout and equipment line up.
- Responsible for the organization of the yard including general yard maintenance and yard clean up.
- Loading and unloading material on/off of delivery trucks or company vehicles.
- Clean and organize shop work area: sweep and clean work surfaces clean vehicles store parts empty and discard garbage
- May operate power-driven equipment that may be needed to maintain the yard; such as leaf blowers weed trimer forklift etc.
- May perform minor repairs on equipment as directed.
- Comply with company and federal safety rules policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment PPE responding to safety concerns and taking appropriate action.
- May be required to handle hazardous materials.
- Assist with safety protocols for backing and lifting.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by your supervisor.

What You Bring to the Table
- Knowledge of the safe and proper use of equipment and tools
- Able to maintain a clean organized clutter free yard inventory skills a plus
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule with minimal direction
- Ability to understand follow and transmit written and verbal instructions
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Valid Class C Drivers License with no driving restrictions.
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment materials and supplies used in heavy/highwayconstruction work
- Forklift certification
- Ability to operate a forklift and front-end loader
- Mechanically inclined
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Our Competitive Package
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on experience education skills and applicable knowledge.

- Employee is frequently required to walk use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is often required to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds individually push pull or carry objects use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump sprint or throw an object.
- Must be able to bend stretch push pull and move as needed to reach clean and service machinery.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to visually inspect machines.
