Job Summary

Title: X-Ray Technologist

Location: New York NY

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: 5 Days per Week 8-Hour Shifts
Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a motivated X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety image quality and compliance with all regulatory standards. New graduates with the required licensure and certification are encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures

  • Operate radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and cooperation

  • Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols

  • Utilize patient shielding and exposure control techniques

  • Review radiographs for image quality and accuracy

  • Document patient care and imaging procedures appropriately

  • Complete and verify imaging examinations in a timely manner

  • Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Maintain radiology supply inventory and equipment records

  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements

  • Participate in continuing education and annual competency requirements

  • Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology

  • Active New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT)

  • ARRT Certification required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Strong attention to quality patient care and safety

Experience:

  • No prior experience required

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
