About You in Home Care is seeking a skilled and patientfocused XRay Technologist to join our healthcare team in the Picayune MS area. The ideal candidate will perform highquality diagnostic imaging procedures ensure patient safety and comfort and support our clinical staff in delivering excellent care.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging - Perform highquality radiographic exams according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Patient Preparation - Prepare and position patients to obtain accurate images while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Equipment Operation - Operate and maintain digital Xray equipment ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
- Radiation Safety - Follow ALARA principles and all regulatory guidelines to minimize radiation exposure.
- Image Quality Review - Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic value before submitting to radiologists.
- Documentation - Accurately record patient information procedures and imaging data in the EMR.
- Collaboration - Work closely with physicians nurses and other clinical staff to support patient care.
- Patient Care - Provide compassionate professional interaction with patients of all ages.
Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification (R) required or eligible.
- State Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Louisiana).
- CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning anatomy and imaging protocols.
- Ability to work independently and in a fastpaced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and patientcare skills.
