Shift Schedule:
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- 5x8 Day Shifts
Compensation:
- $2800 $3210 per week (based on experience)
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety produce accurate diagnostic images and maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards. Strong technical ability professionalism and a collaborative approach to patient care are essential for success in this role.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining exams and properly positioning patients
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce clear high-quality diagnostic images
- Adjust imaging settings exposure factors and equipment controls as needed
- Apply radiation safety protocols and infection control standards to ensure patient and staff safety
- Review and evaluate radiographs for image quality and diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain accurate patient records documentation and exam verification
- Perform routine equipment checks and assist with troubleshooting when required
- Ensure proper inventory management of radiology supplies and equipment readiness
- Maintain a clean safe and compliant work environment in accordance with facility policies
- Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications and CME credits
- Complete annual age-specific competency requirements
- Support departmental operations and perform additional duties as assigned
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.) required
- ARRT Certification required
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with a patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Prior experience is not required; recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong organizational and planning skills are preferred
- Must be committed to maintaining a safe efficient and high-quality patient care environment
