Description
As a Workstudy in the Anthropology department you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the faculty. Your responsibilities will include a variety of administrative and clerical tasks ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience and contribute to a dynamic academic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist faculty with copying scanning and document typing.
  • Perform data entry tasks as requested by faculty.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby copy room and mail room.
  • Handle mail pickup and drop-off ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide general clerical support including answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Ensure printers are well-stocked with paper and assist with paper jams.
  • Create and update filing systems for easy document retrieval.
  • Assist with basic office supplies inventory management.
  • Collaborate with faculty to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.


Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled as a student at The University of Tulsa.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and maintenance.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Previous work experience in an office setting is an asset.
