Location:

Alpharetta GA. Primarily in-office to promote mentorship and collaboration with hybrid flexibility considered for candidates with strong Workers Compensation Defense experience.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have at least 1 year of Workers Compensation experience. Defense experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Manage a caseload of Workers Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Partner closely with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
• Conduct depositions mediations hearings and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery and legal correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and clients.
• Evaluate claims provide legal recommendations and deliver outstanding client service.
• Collaborate with a team that values mentorship responsiveness and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license.
• 1 year of Workers Compensation experience.
• Litigation experience with strong legal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Workers Compensation defense experience preferred.
• Public Defender Assistant District Attorney or Solicitor experience considered a plus.
