Job Description

• Manage a caseload of workers compensation litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs legal memoranda and case evaluations.
• Represent clients in hearings mediations depositions and court proceedings.
• Prepare witnesses and clients for litigation proceedings.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel insurance representatives and the courts.
• Stay current on developments in Florida workers compensation law.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• 2 years of workers compensation attorney experience.
• Trial experience required.
• Strong legal research writing and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting litigation documents and managing active caseloads.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw.
• Excellent communication organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
• Prior law firm experience required.
