Job Description

• Represent employers insurance carriers and other clients in workers compensation defense matters.
• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Attend depositions hearings mediations and settlement conferences.
• Draft pleadings motions legal correspondence and case evaluations.
• Develop litigation strategies that achieve efficient and favorable outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and recommendations.
• Conduct legal research and remain current on California workers compensation laws.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to provide exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license.
• 1 year of workers compensation law experience.
• Strong litigation analytical legal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload.
• California residency required.
• Workers compensation defense experience is highly preferred.
