Workers Compensation Attorney

Our growing law firm is seeking a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney with 13 years of experience to join our Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their career in a supportive team-oriented environment while gaining hands-on litigation experience.

This position is primarily in-office with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after onboarding and training.

• Manage a caseload of California workers compensation defense matters.
  
• Represent employers insurance carriers and third-party administrators throughout the litigation process.
  
• Attend hearings depositions mediations and settlement conferences before the Workers Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
  
• Prepare pleadings motions legal correspondence and other case-related documents.
  
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
  
• Negotiate settlements and work closely with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance.
  
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
  

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  
• Active California Bar license and in good standing.
  
• 13 years of California workers compensation defense experience required.
  
• Strong legal writing analytical and negotiation skills.
  
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  
• A proactive client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
