This is an anticipated vacancy.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a back-up to the Lead Workday Consultant/back-up Workday Point of Contact (POC) position in the areas supporting HR Operations Qualification & Salary Administration Classification and Compensation BEACON/SAP support Policy group and HR consultation. This position will work with DOT managers in interpreting and applying personnel and departmental policies and is responsible for providing support to the Divisions DMV and Raleigh addition this position will be responsible for providing technical support problem resolution within the Workday ATS project management and participating in special HR projects for agencywide implementation. This position will gather issues/concerns for ticket submission to OSHR relating to Workday to enhance the functionalities for the Agency processes and Workflows across all areas.

Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC13 $50008 - $87654 Hiring Range: $50008 - $72000

Management prefers applicants with the following:

  • Working knowledge of the Workday human resources information system
  • Working knowledge of BEACON/Fiori
  • Skill using Microsoft products including Word Excel and Power Point
  • Demonstrated ability to develop written documents and oral presentations and/or reports to convey human resources information
  • Demonstrated ability to compile analyze and summarize administrative programmatic data to resolve human resources issues

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
